Debra Newell

Debra Newell is the founder and President of Ambrosia Home, Inc. headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as the founder and former President of the multi-million dollar company, Ambrosia Interior Design, Inc in Orange County, CA.

In October 2017, the Los Angeles Times launched a six-part article series and accompanying podcast created by Wondery, titled Dirty JohnDirty John is a story of love, deceit, denial, revenge and ruin that ultimately leads to a story of survival that chronicled a time in Newell’s life between October 2014 and August 2016. The story was adapted into a miniseries, which premiered on Bravo in November 2018 and on Netflix in February 2019. Newell has been featured in PeopleUS MagazineHarper BazaarForbesThe New YorkerVultureRefinery29, and Bustle to name a few. Due to her staggering real-life experiences, Newell now spends much of her time as an advocate for change and awareness helping women caught up in coercive controlling relationships. She is currently working to criminalize coercive control, a form of abuse that often goes unpunished because of the lack of awareness and existing legal ramifications.

Lindsay Nichols

Lindsay Nichols received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Florida Atlantic University, with majors in psychology and English and a minor in writing and rhetoric. She is currently working toward her M.A. degree in applied social psychology at Loyola University Chicago, where she also intends to earn a Ph.D. Future plans include working in academia, teaching and conducting research.

Edward Niedermeyer

Edward Niedermeyer began covering the auto industry in 2008, quickly establishing himself as a leading chronicler and critic of the struggles and bailouts of GM and Chrysler. More recently he has focused on the collision between the auto industry and high tech sector, and the reinvention of the automobile. His work on automotive topics has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, BloombergView, The Daily Beast, The Verge, and elsewhere. He is currently the cohost of The Autonocast, a podcast about the future of mobility, and is the Silicon Valley reporter for Automotive News. He lives in Portland, Oregon.

David Nihill

David Nihill was born in Dublin, Ireland. After graduating with a Master's Degree in Business in 2003, he moved to San Francisco where he worked for the Irish government helping startups expand rapidly. He has been involved with startup companies ever since. David is the Founder of FunnyBizz Conferences, a community conference series helping content creators tap into the power of storytelling, comedy, and improv to create better content. He has performed stand-up comedy at California's leading clubs including Cobbs, the Comedy Store, the Improv and the Punchline even though he strongly denies being a comedian and is well aware most people don't understand his accent. His learning, taken from one year's intensive experiments in comedy, performed on someone from the business community with a huge initial fear of public speaking (i.e. him!) have been featured in Inc. and Forbes, among others. He loves sharks, still dislikes public speaking, and calls San Francisco home when immigration officials permit.

While she wishes she could honestly say she’d be Dauntless, she’s probably not as tough as she thinks she is. She’d choose Erudite but manage not to be evil about it. Her novels, Unraveling and Unbreakable, are the story of one girl’s fight to save her family, her world, and the one boy she never saw coming.
