From the co-founders of Cousins Maine Lobster comes an invaluable guide for entrepreneurs and those aspiring to new ventures, focusing on building and thriving in business and beyond

Cousins Jim Tselikis and Sabin Lomac’s dream of bringing the authentic Maine lobster of their childhood to the West Coast was ultimately realized, but not without consistent hard work and dedication. The perseverance that propelled their brand into the spotlight on Shark Tank and made them into a thriving, multimillion-dollar national franchise did not come easy.

Now, the two founders share the honest difficulties that got them to this point and the key business foundations they developed over the last twelve years that led them through uncertainties and accomplishments alike.

Shedding light on the sacrifices, struggles, and victories that shape a leader’s life, Life and Lobster is a personal, practical guide to all the lessons the founding pair wished they knew at the beginning of their entrepreneurship journey. Readers will learn how to:

  • Build a resilient mindset that frames setbacks as stepping-stones to success
  • Hire with purpose and navigate working with family
  • Embrace challenges, take risks, and move forward with renewed drive
  • Elevate and promote your brand with confidence

For aspiring entrepreneurs, established business owners seeking a fresh perspective on management and growth strategies, and fans of a resilient success story, Life and Lobster will inspire readers to transform fear into motivation and gain the confidence to take the chance that could change your life.

After an endearing 2012 Shark Tank appearance that culminated in a partnership with Barbara Corcoran, the Cousins began franchising, bringing authentic Maine Lobster eats to unique neighborhoods across the US.
