Stephen D Livingston

Stephen D. Livingston, BSc, MA, is a social psychologist and science writer with expertise in the domains of prejudice and persuasion. He studied biology and psychology at the University of Winnipeg, and social psychology and political science at The Ohio State University. He was most recently an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Toronto Scarborough. Brian Livingston

Brian Livingston is an investigative journalist with more than two decades of experience who is now training his sights directly on the investment industry. Based in New York City from 1984 through 1991, he was the assistant information technology manager of UBS Securities; a computer consultant for Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. (now JPMorgan Chase); and technology adviser to Lazard Frères.

As a consumer advocate exposing the dark side of high tech, he wrote more than 1,000 articles from 1991 through 2010 for such publications as PC World, CNET, InfoWorld, PC Mag, and eWeek. He founded the Windows Secrets Newsletter, which grew to 400,000 subscribers, and co-authored 11 books in the Windows Secrets series (John Wiley Sons). The 6th Annual Internet Content Summit in New York City named him Entrepreneur of the Year for his creation of a profitable pay what you wish model to deliver technology information to consumers. He is a recipient of the Award for Technical Excellence from the National Microcomputer Managers Association. Livingston is president of the Seattle regional chapter of the American Association of Individual Investors.

Peter B. Lloyd was trained in science and software engineering but has a passion for philosophy, and has published several articles, academic papers,  and books bringing philosophy out of academia. Thalma Lobel

Thalma E. Lobel is an internationally recognized psychologist who has served as the chair at the School of Psychological Sciences at Tel Aviv University, the director of the Adler Center for Child Development and Psychopathology, the Dean of Students and a member of the executive board of the university. She has been a visiting professor at Harvard University, and a visiting scholar at Tufts University, the University of California at San Diego, and New York University. Lobel has published dozens of articles in some of the most prestigious academic, peer-reviewed journals and has received many prestigious research grants. Her latest book, Sensation, was published in 15 countries.

Chris Logan

Chris Logan is a lecturer in the psychology department at Southern Methodist University. His area of expertise is the social psychology of conflict resolution. He has forced references to “The Simpsons” on friends, family members, innocent bystanders and countless psychology students at three universities over the last 10 years. He has a B.A. in psychology from SMU and a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Texas Tech. He lives in Dallas, where he teaches and consults.

Scarborough, Maine, native Sabin Lomac is the cofounder of Cousins Maine Lobster, a start-up food truck business that has grown to over 75 units, including both gourmet food trucks and fast-casual restaurants. In 2012, he and his cousin, Jim Tselikis, opened a single food truck in Los Angeles, looking to bring the authentic Maine lobster experience from their childhood to the West Coast. After an endearing 2012 Shark Tank appearance that culminated in a partnership with Barbara Corcoran, the Cousins began franchising, bringing authentic Maine Lobster eats to unique neighborhoods across the US. Sabin and his cousin work vigorously to ensure not only the quality and consistency of their product, but to elevate and promote the “family first” ethos at the core of CML.
