Macall Gordon

Macall Gordon has a master’s degree in applied psychology from Antioch University in Seattle with a research-based specialization in infant mental health, sleep advice, and parenting culture. She also has a BS in human biology from Stanford University. She is a senior lecturer in the graduate counseling psychology program at Antioch University. She has conducted and presented her own research on temperament, sleep, and parenting advice at infant and child development conferences around the world. She has been a featured speaker at national sleep conferences and has led webinar-based advanced training for sleep coaches, mental health providers, and others on the impact of temperament on sleep. She is a certified Gentle Sleep Coach (trained by Kim West) and a featured provider on the women’s telehealth platform, Maven Clinic. She comes to this work because she had two sensitive, alert, intense children, and she didn’t sleep for 18 years.

Nicole P. Gotlin

Nicole P. Gotlin first met the Backstreet Boys one week after their formation in 1993. She spent the next nine years working with them. During that time she served as their managerial assistant as well as the operations manager of their Orlando-based home office. Nicole had a front row seat as they rose from a baby band to international superstars. She currently lives near Orlando, Fla., with her husband Douglas, a physician, and their son, Max Stuart.

Joshua L. Gowin

Joshua Gowin has been writing about aggression since 2007 when a violent tragedy–the murder of a student by a family member–struck the community at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UT Health) where Josh was studying. He earned a Master’s degree in 2009 for his work exploring the potential of a migraine medication, Zomig®, to block alcohol-induced aggressive behavior. The same year, he interned at Psychology Today, where he currently writes a blog about neuroscience titled “You, Illuminated.” He is currently finishing his PhD at UT Health, studying how the cycle of violence may be caused by disruptions in the body’s stress system as a result of child abuse.

Matt Graham

Comedian Matt Graham is the writer and performer of This Too Shall Suck, an autobiographical, one-hour show, which premiered in NYC in February 2012. Graham made his professional debut in the 80’s on the Boston comedy circuit with Louis CK, David Cross and Janeane Garofalo. His signature “non stand-up stand-up” earned him four appearances on the Conan O’Brien show, which he eventually wrote for, a writing gig with Saturday Night Live, and national recognition as a comic.

During a hiatus from stand-up, Graham took up professional scrabble, and at age 31, placed second in the 1997 World Scrabble Championships. He was a subject in the New York Times bestseller Word Freak, and the Sundance documentary film, Word Wars. Greg Graves

Greg Graves is newly retired as Chair/CEO of Burns McDonnell Engineering, and he has been chairman of the board for two iconic Kansas City metro institutions that are trailblazers in fields he is extremely passionate about—healthcare and the arts. Greg was named chair of the University of Kansas Hospital Authority Board after serving as a board member since 2009. The Kansas City Repertory Theatre also appointed Greg as chairman of its board from 2017-19. On the board of publicly owned UMB Financial Corporation, a $25B bank headquartered in Kansas City, Greg serves as the board’s Lead Independent Director and chairs the nominating committee.
