Carol Cooper

Carol Cooper is a New York-based journalist and cultural critic who has been writing professionally about books, music, film, pop trends and social issues for over 20 years. Her work has been published in various national and international publications, including Essence, Elle, Latin N.Y., The Face (England), Actuel (France), the Village Voice, the New York Times and Rolling Stone. Her work has been cited in academic journals, and her critical and sociological essays have been included in a number of anthologies, including Rolling Stone: The ’70s (Little, Brown and Company), Brooklyn: A State of Mind (Workman Publishing Company), Dark Matter 2: Reading the Bones (Warner Aspect) and The Rolling Stone Book of Women in Rock (Random House). She is a member of the national nonprofit comics advocacy group Friends of Lulu and a 1974 graduate of the Clarion Writer’s Workshop for Fantasy and Science Fiction. She is widely traveled and holds both B.A. and M.A.L.S. degrees from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.

Harris Cooper

Harris Cooper is professor of psychology and director of the program in education at Duke University. He studies research methodology and applications of social psychology to educational policy and practice. Dr. Cooper was raised by Fritz Freiling, Hannah Barbera, MGM and the Warner Brothers, while his mother must have been doing something more important. When not watching “The Simpsons,” he is editor of the Psychological Bulletin, the premier journal publishing research syntheses in the social sciences.

Gwen Cooper

Gwen Cooper is the New York Times bestselling author of the memoirs Homer’s Odyssey: A Fearless Feline Tale, or How I Learned About Love and Life with a Blind Wonder Cat and Homer: The Ninth Life of a Blind Wonder Cat; the novels Love Saves the Day and Diary of a South Beach Party Girl; and the crowd-sourced collection of cat selfies, Kittenish (a send-up of Kim Kardashians Selfish), 100% of the proceeds from which were donated to support animal rescue in Nepal following the 2015 earthquake. Her work has been published in nearly two-dozen languages and territories around the world. She is a frequent speaker at shelters and fundraisers, and donates 10% of her royalties from Homer’s Odyssey to organizations that serve abused, abandoned, and disabled animals. Gwen lives in Manhattan with her husband, Laurence. She also lives with her two perfect cats Clayton the Tripod and his litter-mate, Fanny, who aren’t impressed with any of it.

Brandon Copeland

Brandon Copeland describes himself as a Christian, husband, father, son, and brother, and  wears many purpose-driven hats when it comes to how he invests his working hours. The 31-year old stars on the Netflix show Buy My House while running his own real estate companies, one of which is building a 41-unit property with affordable housing in Newark, New Jersey where he’s set up his entrepreneurial headquarters. He also co-hosts the Money Music Culture podcast on SiriusXM and for the past five years has taught a financial literacy course at his alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, called Life 101, which has spun off into its own digital platform available to audiences nationwide. This has led to his partnership with financial tech startup MoneyLion, pushing out a growing library of content featuring Brandon to six-million users. He is a ten-year NFL veteran, having played with the Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, New York Jets, and Atlanta Falcons.

Dr. Loren Cordain is the founder of The Paleo Diet, a New York Times bestselling author, and an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Health and Exercise Science at Colorado State University. Donn Cortez

Don DeBrandt has been accused of authoring The Quicksilver Screen, Steeldriver, Timberjak, V.I. and the “Angel” novel Shakedown, as well as writing two books under the pseudonym Donn Cortez: The Closer, a thriller, and The Man Burns Tonight, a mystery set at Burning Man (to be published in August 2005). He does not deny these charges. His two current novels are CSI: Miami—Cult Following and CSI: Miami—Riptide.

John Couch

John D. Couch is Vice President of Education at Apple, Inc. Recruited by Steve Jobs as Apple’s Director of New Products in 1978, Couch became the then-fledgling company’s 54th employee. Prior to Apple, he earned degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California Berkeley, and then became a software engineer at Hewlett-­Packard, a lecturer at Cal State University, and the author of a popular textbook.

Couch is an active leader in the personalized learning movement, widely regarded as one of the most forward-­thinking people in education. His influence extends beyond Apple, as well. He was a technology advisor to President Bush, and later advised President Obama on the initial National Education Technology Plan. Most recently, Couch partnered with Harvard University, funding an ed­-tech research initiative at the school’s Crowd Innovation Lab.
