Anne Moyer, Ph.D.

Anne Moyer earned her Ph.D. from Yale University and is an assistant professor at Stony Brook University. She studies psychosocial issues surrounding cancer and cancer risk. She is also interested in research methodology and methods of synthesizing research. As a social and health psychologist, she is fortunate to be able to refer to her fascination with reality TV as “research.”

Lani Muelrath

Lani Muelrath

Award winning teacher Lani Muelrath, MA, is an instructional design expert specializing in healthy plant-based living, fitness, and weight management. She is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University and maintains multiple teaching credentials in the State of California, along with Advanced Fitness Nutrition Specialist credentials, and multiple other certifications. Recipient of the California Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Instruction, Lani is the author of Fit Quickies: 5 Minute Targeted Body-Shaping Workouts, Guest Lecturer at San Francisco State University, and Associate Faculty in Kinesiology at Butte College, where her book has been adopted as a required course textbook. Lani created and starred in her own CBS TV’s show, Lani’s All-Heart Aerobics.

Lani has served as presenter and consultant for the Physician’s Committee Committee for Responsible Medicine and the Complete Health Improvement Project. She is published in prominent magazines, blogs, and newsletters, and has been featured on ABC-TV, Prevention Magazine, NPR, USA Today, The Saturday Evening Post, and numerous radio shows.

Lani presents and lectures extensively and counsels a variety of clients throughout the world from her northern California-based private practice on successful transition to healthy plant-based living.

Dr. Neil Mulholland

Dr. Neil Mulholland was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. He is presently a senior psychologist in child and family psychiatry at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Edmonton, Canada, and consults to several health teams in the region. He also runs a small private practice for kids and adults, where he often uses Harry Potter as a therapeutic tool. In 1979, after spending ten years in the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico, Dr. Neil graduated from Arizona State University. He then returned to Vancouver, Canada, and spent 20 years there before moving to the prairies of Alberta. According to the online quizzes, he’s a bit of a Mr. Weasley.

Morrie Mullins

Morrie Mullins, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Xavier University in Cincinnati. When he’s not doing academic research on personnel selection and mentoring students, he’s probably writing fiction, immersing himself in pop culture, or spending time with his wife and dogs. His definition of “work-nonwork balance” involves having enough time and energy to work on his stories and watch TV after he gets home. Contrary to what his students may believe, he is emphatically not the biggest Star Wars geek in twelve systems.

He personally coaches Olympic and professional athletes, Special Forces operators, Hollywood celebrities, leading entrepreneurs, and C-suite executives while speaking and hosting leadership workshops around the world.

Jessica Murakami

Jessica Murakami received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and her M.S. in clinical psychology from the University of Oregon. She is currently a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Oregon. Her main research interests are in the area of depression research, particularly related to gender and cultural differences in depression. She is also very much interested in understanding the motivations, risk and protective factors for suicide in diverse populations. At the University of Oregon, Jessica is also pursuing her M.F.A. in creative writing (poetry). She is an avid Harry Potter fan and is convinced that Snape is innocent.

Kevin Andrew Murphy

Kevin Andrew Murphy is the author of various science fiction, fantasy and horror novels, including House of Secrets, Penny Dreadful, Drum into Silence and Fathom: The World Below. He’s also published many short stories and novellas, a number in the World of Darkness and Wild Cards anthologies, as well as formal poetry and, of course, essays. He lives in California with three whippets and tries to keep up with them. He thinks they may have knowledge of wormholes.

Jamie Mustard

Jamie Mustard is a strategic multi-media consultant and Iconist. His passion is to teach the science and “art of obviousness,” helping professionals, change agents, artists, and businesses confidently and at will make their messages, brands and ideas stand out to their desired audiences. A graduate of the London School of Economics, Jamie’s work is an explanation of the “economics of attention,” based on the primal laws of human perception called Blocks. He has spoken, educated, and inspired others with his work prolifically, including TED at the creative giant, Wieden and Kennedy. Jamie’s Iconist work has spanned some of the world’s leading companies, artists, and the globe. Growing up in severe poverty in inner city Los Angeles, Jamie overcame obstacles to eventually codify a system of primal laws that can now help us all.

Siamak Naficy

Siamak Tundra Naficy, Ph.D., currently teaches classes in biological anthropology at Santa Monica College. His doctorate at UCLA explores the evolution of intelligence in dogs and wolves and what this work may say about the co-evolutionary processes that humans and dogs have shared. When he is not studying domestication and animal behavior, he makes a point of rescuing Siberian huskies from certain death.

Ajit Nawalkha builds businesses. After failing a startup, struggling through failed partnerships, and going from the ranks of an intern to a co-founder, he found business is lot more about emotional, spiritual, physical and mental resilience—and not as much about strategy.
