Norbert Kraft, MD, received “The NASA Group Achievement Award 2013,” one of the most prestigious awards a group can receive, presented to selected groups who have distinguished themselves by making outstanding contributions to the NASA mission. In 2010, Kraft received the 2010 Award for “Outstanding Accomplishments in the Psychological and Psychiatric Aspects of Aerospace Medicine.”

He has over 20 years of experience in aviation and aerospace research and development. His primary area of expertise is developing physiological and psychological countermeasures to combat the negative effects of long-duration spaceflight. Dr. Kraft’s experiences span Europe, Asia, and the United States, where he has worked for several international space agencies, including the Russian Space Agency and the Japanese Space Agency. Dr. Kraft is an author of over 40 papers in the field of aerospace medicine, including a seminal paper on intercultural crew issues in long-duration spaceflight. He has an M.D. from University of Vienna, Austria, and is a Fellow of the Aerospace Medical Association.

Marguerite Krause’s favorite activities involve the printed word. In addition to writing, she works as a freelance copyeditor, helping other writers to sharpen their skills, and for relaxation loves nothing better than to curl up with a good book. She is married to her high school sweetheart; they have two children. You can find more of Marguerite’s writing in the anthologies Seven Seasons of Buffy and Five Seasons of Angel; her two-part epic fantasy, Moons’ Dreaming and Moons’ Dancing, co-written with Susan Sizemore; and her fantasy novel, Blind Vision.

Adrienne Kress is a Toronto born actor and author. Her books are Alex and the Ironic Gentleman and Timothy and the Dragon’s Gate (Weinstein Books). She is a theatre graduate of the University of Toronto and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in the UK. Published around the world, Alex and the Ironic Gentlemen was featured in the New York Post as a “Post Potter Pick,” as well as on the CBS Early Show. It won the Heart of Hawick Children’s Book Award in the UK and was nominated for the Red Cedar. The sequel, Timothy, was nominated for the Audie and Manitoba Young Readers Choice Awards. After pumping gas for nine years to put himself through college, Dan Krokos, now twenty-eight, dropped out to write full-time. He is currently hard at work on three separate projects: the final stop for Miranda North in the False Memory series, the next adventure for thirteen-year-old Mason Stark in The Planet Thieves series, and his first adult thriller. All of Dan’s books have been optioned for film or television, and False Memory recently won the International Thriller Writer’s Award for best Young Adult book. He enjoys riding his Harley, playing MMORPGs, and drinking coffee. If he had to choose a faction, he’d choose Dauntless. They have the most fun. But he’d go with Amity if they were into ziplining and jumping into nets and stuff.

Robert F. Krueger, Ph.D., is professor of psychology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and an associate editor of the Journal of Abnormal Psychology. Dr. Krueger has been honored with both early- and mid-career distinguished research awards from the American Psychological Association and the American Psychological Foundation. His professional interests include personality, psychopathology, statistics and behavior genetics; that said, he feels slightly unnerved by the possibility that, ultimately, his most widely read publication might be about “Firefly.” Aside from his psychological endeavors, Dr. Krueger enjoys things like “The Simpsons,” jazz, science fiction and video gaming. His top secret desire is that this chapter will become a citation classic and someday earn him the degree of Doctor of Science Fiction, honoris causa.

Crime Scene Detective Christine Kruse-Feldstein has been with the Miami-Dade Police Department for over 10 years. She also has experience in law enforcement in Kentucky and was a part of a volunteer fire department working as an emergency medical technician. Overall she has been involved in law enforcement or fire rescue for 16 years. One of Christine’s favorite sayings is “I do not respond unless you are raped, robbed, shot, stabbed or dead.”

Oleksandr Kubrakov is the former deputy prime minister for restoration of Ukraine and the former minister of infrastructure under President Zelensky. He entered national politics in 2019 as a member of Ukrainian parliament. During Russia’s full-scale invasion, Kubrakov played a key role in maintaining Ukraine’s economic and logistical stability, and led the nationwide reconstruction policy. After leaving public office in 2024, Kubrakov founded We Build Ukraine, an independent think tank focused on shaping Ukraine’s post-war economic transformation.
