Nico Perrino is the executive vice president of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) and the creator and host of So to Speak: The Free Speech Podcast. His writing has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Politico, The Boston Globe, and The Guardian, and he is a frequent television, radio, and podcast commentator. In 2020, he codirected and produced Mighty Ira, the award-winning documentary chronicling the life and legacy of former ACLU executive director Ira Glasser. Nico lives outside of Washington, DC, with his wife, three sons, and Golden Irish dog, Kilroy.
