Enid Borden

Enid Borden

Enid Borden is the President and CEO of the National Foundation to End Senior Hunger (NFESH) formerly known as the Meals On Wheels Research Foundation. As President and CEO, Borden leads NFESH in its mission to research, develop and support innovative activities to end senior hunger.

Prior to leading NFESH, Borden was the President and CEO of the Meals On Wheels Association of America (MOWAA) for over 20 years. Under Borden’s leadership, MOWAA grew from a little known trade association to become a preeminent national charity.

Jonas Bordo

Jonas Bordo is the CEO and cofounder of Dwellsy, the largest U.S. residential rental marketplace. He has been in renting and rentals for more than 20 years. He’s been a renter, a small-scale landlord who managed eight units in Chicago, and he managed a portfolio of 60,000 apartments for Essex Property Trust, one of the nation’s largest REITs. He is husband to Rosalind and father to Bailey, Zach and Thea, an avid hiker, a lifelong learner and a maker of things, sometimes out of wood.

Mary Borsellino

Mary Borsellino lives in Australia and writes whatever and whenever she can. She’s contributed to a number of essay collections about comic books, and founded the Web site Girl-Wonder.org in 2006. Nick Bostrom

Dr. Nick Bostrom is a philosopher at Yale University. He founded the World Transhumanist Association in 1998 (with David Pearce) and is a frequent spokesperson and commentator in the media. Bostrom’s research interests are in philosophy of science probability theory, and the ethical and strategic implications of anticipated technologies (including AI, nanotech, genetics, etc.). He has a background in cosmology, computational neuroscience, mathematical logic, philosophy, artificial intelligence and stand-up comedy, and is the author of the book Anthropic Bias: Observation Selection Effects in Science and Philosophy (Routledge, New York, 2002).

B. Bonin Bough

B. Bonin Bough is the Vice President of Global Media and Consumer Engagement at Mondelez International (formerly Kraft Foods). He is considered a transformative activator, known for leading some of the industry’s largest and most innovative global media investments across digital, television, print, and outdoors. He is unique in his commitment to forging partnerships with the industry’s largest players including Paramount, ABC, NBC, CBS, Sony, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to name a few. He is the leader in partnering startups with brands and executed the first-ever branded campaigns with Instagram, Foursquare, and Radian6.

Bough’s passion for the new and nascent as well as his expertise in the mobile and media marketplace has lead to the launch of the first two corporate accelerators, PepsiCo10 and Mobile Futures. At South by Southwest, he used 3D printing technology build to create customized Oreo cookies in real time.

Tom Bouwer

Thomas J. Bouwer has a passion for helping entrepreneurs and their leadership teams simplify, clarify and achieve their vision. In addition to starting and running three of his own companies in Turkey, Tom has worked with a diverse range of companies from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies. His nearly three decades of global management and consulting experience in multiple industries help him quickly identify and solve chronic issues that keep a company from achieving optimal success. As a teacher, facilitator and coach, Tom spends most of his time as a Certified EOS© Implementer—helping leadership teams implement EOS in their companies. He earned his B.A. from Hope College and MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. When not delivering EOS workshops or keynote addresses, Tom is most likely walking his dogs or hiking in the mountains.

Sharon Bowers

Sharon Bowers is an independent scholar who is interested in the intersections of gender, narrative and popular culture. She has presented at national and regional pop culture conferences on texts such as “ER,” “Fastlane” and “The L-Word.” The author of the novel Lucifer Rising and a contributor to the NYPD Blue anthology What Would Sipowicz Do?, she is currently working on a book-length examination of competitive discourses of sexuality in primetime television. As someone who considers herself a free-floating signifier, she admires Edie’s interrogative potential (if not her fashion sense) but wishes she had Bree’s proficiency with a handgun (not to mention a basket of her muffins).

Biomechanist Katy Bowman, MS, has become a leading voice for the science of wellness. The creator and talent behind the Aligned and Well™ DVD program, the Director of the Restorative Exercise Institute, and the creator of the Restorative Exercise™ DVD kits for Gaiam, Bowman’s goal is to educate the public about correct exercise prescription, traditional movement, and how modern living impacts the human machine.

Long before becoming a international health celebrity, Bowman opened a small studio Ð now a very large institute Ð utilizing her studies in biomechanics and kinesiology to design safe exercise programs for injured or post-rehab patients. Dedicated to the teaching the ABCs of movement, she developed a reputation for achieving unprecedented results in pain reduction, increased bone density, and improved metabolic health. She is a regular contributor and expert for national health, fitness, and wellness publications and TV segments.
