Erin Sears Basile, or “Sears kid number five,” as she will joke about, has experienced first-hand the magical benefits of a happy, healthy household. Growing up in the fun and sometimes crazy Sears home with 7 siblings taught her a lot about the importance of family values, and leading a life of service. With her parents as guides, she has shaped her life around helping others.
She received her B.A in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Vanguard University and then went on to receive her M.A. in Choral Conducting from Azusa Pacific University. She then pursued a teaching career, and has loved sharing the joys of music with her students for the past 13 years.

Brant Secunda is a world-renowned shaman, healer and teacher in the Huichol Indian tradition of Mexico. He is the only Westerner to have completed a 12-year apprenticeship with Don José Matsuwa, the revered Huichol Indian shaman. Jeanne Segal, PH.D., is a psychologist, sociologist, author, and pioneering mental health innovator. Jody Segrave-Daly, RN and retired IBCLC is a newborn nursery and newborn intensive care unit nurse and a staunch advocate for evidence-based feeding practices and perinatal mental health. Jody’s entire 30-year nursing career has been dedicated to caring for healthy and medically fragile babies in the nursery and NICU and has been providing community-based infant feeding support as a neonatal nurse and IBCLC for 12 years. She has comforted thousands of mothers all over the world that have contacted her for infant feeding consultations, who believed it was rare to under-produce breast milk and often felt betrayed by their healthcare teams, their own bodies, and the social pressure that insisted “Breast Is Best” for every family. David Seidman has been a comic book writer, a publicist for the comics publishers NBM Publishing and Claypool Comics, senior editor of Disney Comics, a teacher of comics writing at UCLA and an author of storybooks and other fiction starring superheroes such as Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four. As a journalist, he’s written about comics for publications ranging from the Los Angeles Times to the trade journal Comics and Games Retailer. In addition, he’s authored more than 30 books on subjects as diverse as Christmas lights, longevity medicine, teenage life in Iran, relocating to Los Angeles and the F/A-18 warplane.
